Organic Tall Green Purslane - This is the most common appearance of purslane with it's darker, sometimes red stems and green leaves. The zesty leaves of Purslane are succulent and packed with Omega 3'S. The 1½" leaves are much larger than the wild form of purslane.
Upright growth habit. Flavor is crisp and mild. Known as "verdolaga" in Latin America, used often in Turkish and mediterranean cooking. Sensitive to frost and likes summer heat with poor soil conditions.
