Lacinato Kale, an old Italian heirloom kale dating back to the eighteenth century, is a unique variety that produces blue-green, bumpy leaves that typically take 65 days to mature. The hardy leaves can tolerate both heat and mild cold growing 3-4" wide and 11-19" long. Also known as Dinosaur kale or Nero di Toscana kale, it's fantastic flavor is enhanced by the first frost.
