Chicken Lettuce (Critter Mix) is for growing forage vegetables for creatures that need some fresh food—enzymes, omega-3 fatty acids, choline, potassium, calcium, vitamins A and C, and phytonutrients, like chickens!

These seeds are not up to standards by commercial farming measures—some of them have been replaced by newer lots, some are below 80% germ, some are stained by rain or have some kind of objectionable chaff that we can’t remove. This seed is perfect for broad-casting chicken or turkey paddocks, rabbit forage, or even the proverbial “wildlife garden” to distract grazers from your real crop.

Your chickens will love munching on this mix, slugs included!  At the time of packing, this mix contained 4 different lettuce varieties, swiss chard, clover, fenugreek (helps with antibacterial activity and gut performance) and alfalfa.
